LG donates air-purifiers to Bangkok international school

LG Electronics (Thailand) recently donated LG PuriCare air-purifiers with 360-degree reach and filtration of particles as small as PM1 – collectively worth Bt1.3 million – to NIST International School in Bangkok.

The school is in an urban area where the risk of air pollution is high. The donation will provide clean air to protect the health of the students and personnel as well as help them prepare for the toxic-smog crisis for which a long-term solution has yet to be found.
The donation is in line with LG’s commitment to enhancing the wellbeing of consumers and also reflects its slogan, “Life’s Good”.
LG recently collaborated with the Smart City innovative Research Academy (SCiRA) at King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang on research into air-pollution prevention, including a performance test of the technology integrated in the PuriCare and LG residential air-conditioners.
The result of this research will be used to further develop preventive measures.
