TV series supplier upbeat on growth
JKN Global Media aims to achieve a 20-per cent growth in business year on year by the end of 2019.
Jakkaphong Jakrajuthatip, managing director, said the firm expects continued growth in the second half, mainly through rising exports of digital content from TV3 to the Asian market and the popularity of Indian and Philippine series in Thailand, adding that its viewer base will expand by
20 per cent in the rest of the year.
The firm also supplies Philippine TV series to its partners in Cambodia, Myanmar, and Laos.
Recently, it signed an agreement for the distribution of digital content in several countries , including Singapore, Japan, Europe, Canada, Latin America and Korea.
The firm expects a 20 per cent growth in revenue this year, with 30 per cent of the total coming from overseas markets .
