Vietjet continues to expand network in Japan

Attending the opening ceremony at Narita International Airport in the capital of Japan were Kyotaro Harano, deputy administrator of the Civil Aviation Bureau and Narita International Airport Office, Akihiko Tamura, Narita International Airport Corporation president and chief executive, Lam Thi Thanh Phuong, deputy ambassador of Vietnam to Japan, Shinsuke Satake, director Overseas Promotion Department of Japan National Tourism Organization as well as leaders from Vietjet, travel agents and the airline’s partners in Japan.
Speaking at the ceremony, Akihiko Tamura, Narita International Airport Corporation representative director and president, said: “Congratulations on the launch of Vietjet’s new Ho Chi Minh City–Narita flight service today. I would like to express my sincere appreciation to Vietjet for launching its second service from Narita, following the flight service to Hanoi, which was launched last January, and for contributing to the expansion of Narita Airport’s flight network. I am excited to see interaction between our two countries receive a greater boost from Vietjet with the opening of these services between Narita and the two largest cities in Vietnam.”
Also speaking at the opening ceremony, Do Xuan Quang, Vietjet vice president, said: “The launching of our latest route, Ho Chi Minh City–Tokyo (Narita), today means we have now connected the four biggest economic and tourism centers of Japan and Vietnam, namely Tokyo, Osaka, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, allowing us to offer people of the two countries and international travelers even more options for air travel in terms of times, destinations and cost-saving fares. In future, we hope to keep on offering passengers many more wonderful flying experiences on our new aircraft with great value fares, lots of exciting inflight entertainment, and delicious inflight meals served by our dedicated cabin crew.”
