Many scientists actually predict global cooling
Re: “Climate change is an issue for experts – not opinionated amateurs”, Letters, December 21.
Brian responds to my article (“Climate change: Brace for harsh winters ahead”, Opinion, December 17) by claiming there are “no” climatology scientists who deny anthropogenic (man-made) global warming.
This is not true.
In addition to the climatologists I listed in the article, there are actually many scientists that predict imminent global cooling. Their names are listed at Climate Depot (www.climatedepot.com). Among them is a prominent Russian solar physicist by the name of Habibullo Abdussamatov.
Since 2000 there has been no unadjusted data set that shows continued global warming. The official Nasa data banks have been positively adjusted since 2000, thus recording global warming. But since 2000 this record has not corroborated with atmospheric measurements.
