Somchai's wife wants investigators changed

ANGKHANA NEELAPAIJIT, the wife of missing lawyer Somchai Neelapaijit, yesterday called on the Department of Special Investigation (DSI) to change the team of investigators charged with looking into her husband's disappearance as there has been no progress

Colonel Niran Adulyasak is leading the team of investigators in question.
In her petition, she said the team has been studying the case for 11 years now, but so far there has been no progress. Also, she pointed out, the DSI has not called a meeting in relation to this case for several years now.
She also said that some witnesses had been intimidated, while some went missing, including Pol Lt-Colonel Ngern Thongsuk, who disappeared after he was released on bail by the Court of Appeals.
Angkhana also said she wants to exercise her right to change investigators, as she was not confident in their ability. She also rejected as groundless reports that the investigation file of her husband’s case had gone missing.
She said she would mark the anniversary of her husband’s disappearance by standing at the point where he is believed to have been abducted from 11 years ago.
