Panitan denies he is up for NSC secretary general post
Panitan Wattanayagorn, the national security adviser to Deputy Prime Minister Prawit Wongsuwan, has denied reports that he is the top candidate for the post of National Security Council secretary-general.
Reports have been rife that Panitan may succeed Anusit Kanakorn after he retires on October 1.
Panitan said he was a university lecturer who also worked with the NSC.
