Final Call! CP AXTRA Invites Bangkok Residents to Join “AXTRA GREEN CHALLENGE นักล่าหาขยะ”

Bangkok, 19 August 2026 – The final call is here! CP AXTRA Public Company Limited, operator of the Makro and Lotus’s wholesale and retail businesses, is gearing up for “AXTRA GREEN CHALLENGE นักล่าหาขยะ”, inviting Bangkok residents to team up and turn waste collection and sorting into an engaging challenge while helping create a cleaner and more livable city. Taking the excitement to the next level, the winning team will receive THB 10,000 in prizes plus a trip to Japan for all four team members, along with the opportunity to participate in an upcoming qualifying round in Thailand for a global waste-collection competition. Registration is open from now until 26 August 2026.

“AXTRA GREEN CHALLENGE นักล่าหาขยะ” is held under “AXTRA Circular Impacts: รวมพลัง ขับเคลื่อนไทยสู่ความยั่งยืน”, transforming waste collection and sorting into a points-based challenge in which teams collect waste within a designated area and timeframe. The activity aims to encourage public participation and raise awareness of proper waste management through an engaging experience that also creates a positive impact on public spaces. The competition will take place on Friday, 28 August 2026, from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Lan Tawan Yim, Lumphini Park, Bangkok.

Time is running out! Participants can gather a team of four and register through the Google Form https://forms.gle/QT9JNrWrjvW2Pd5x7 or scan the QR code on the event poster by 26 August 2026. Competition requirements are as follows:

• Each team must consist of four members: three competitors responsible for collecting waste and one member responsible for livestreaming the activity on Facebook.
• Each team must have at least one member aged 18 or above.
• Participants under the age of 18 must obtain consent from a parent or legal guardian before registering.
• The team member responsible for livestreaming must have their own Facebook account and set the livestream to public.

Adding even more excitement to the challenge, CP AXTRA has stepped up the prizes, with rewards as follows:

• Winning Team: THB 10,000 in prizes, plus a trip to Japan for all four team members, as well as the opportunity to participate in an upcoming Thailand qualifying round for a global waste-collection competition.
• First Runner-up: THB 3,000 in prizes.
• Second Runner-up: THB 2,000 in prizes.
• Best Recycled Fancy Costume Award: THB 1,500 in prizes.
