Sansiri app to be at customers’ command

Tawicha Trakulyingyong, chief technology officer at Sansiri, said the firm had partnered with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Dailitech to develop an AI solution to be called the Sansiri home services application. 
The new app will offer Thai-voice commands for people living in condominiums, so they can manage all home-related activities conveniently from anywhere at any |time. 
A prototype of the app is now being tested, with the aim of implementation from the second quarter of next year.
Under the agreement, AWS (Thailand) will provide innovation technology involving an AI platform, including machine learning, voice and text chatbots as well as facial recognition technologies. 
Meanwhile, Dailitech will be the systems integrator, and develop end-to-end solutions to support customers’ lifestyle, Tawicha said.
Functions that will available via the Sansiri home services app in the second quarter of next year will include basic commands that allow customers to check utility bills, plus certain home-automation controls such as turning power on and off in the home.
Other interactive services to be available through voice command will include weather forecasts, traffic status updates and daily news summaries.
Tawicha said that Sansiri started to invest in property technology last year.
The firm was continuing to invest in other technology to support the lifestyle of its customers, he added.
At present, the Sansiri mobile application has around 20,000 active users, but the new mobile app to be made available to customers early next year would have added functionality, including allowing users to do their shopping from their smart device. 
Sansiri is one of the largest real-estate developers in Thailand. 
It offers a wide range of housing units and is headquartered in Bangkok.
