Fritz Hansen, the Danish luxury furniture brand launches the new pop-up space at Central Embassy.

While Soi Somkid’s House of Fritz Hansen is being renovated, the Danish luxury furniture brand will open a pop-up space at Central Embassy today until 31 December 2019. Highlights will include iconic designer pieces like Arne Jacobsen and Swan chairs, elegant PK22 lounge chairs and PK80 daybeds by Poul Kjaerholm and Lissoni Sofa by Piero Lissoni. The official opening of Fritz Hansen pop-up space honored by Veekrit Palarit, Managing Director of Norse Republics to please the furniture lover to experience Fritz Hansen timeless design in a new context. The new era of the Fritz Hanzen from Norse Republics, the sole distributor of Fritz Hansen in Thailand, they rename brand from the Republic of Fritz Hansen to “Fritz Hansen.” To reflect brand identity from an extraordinary collection of high-end furniture, lighting and interior accessories by the craftsmanship excellence works with the timeless designed while looking forward in the future for spectacle and reaching passionate design in a group of the new generation.

The concept of the pop-up space is to present the identity of the refinement of Danish lifestyle by using the style icon of Fritz Hansen’s furniture to convey various distinctive stories through its own exquisite charms. Highlights will include iconic designer pieces like Arne Jacobsen’s Egg and Swan chairs, elegant PK22 lounge chairs and PK80 daybeds by Poul Kjaerholm and Lissoni Sofa by Piero Lissoni dressed in NUANCE leather, the special edition feature leather that offers a durable, visual and tactile experience. Every nuance of grey is highlighted by the leather’s texture and its natural patterns and imperfections. Touching it, you instantly sense its softness and authenticity. NUANCE has a remarkable depth and dimension that exudes authenticity, with the added advantage that it’s designed to be durable. It’s a brand new type of protected leather we developed in close collaboration with SPACE Copenhagen, an architecture and design studio founded by Signe Bindslev Henriksen and Peter Bundgaard Rützou, where the nuances are seen in the natural texture as well as the tones, which each derive from a gradient of grey. Run your fingers along the surface of NUANCE and you can feel the realness and richness of a leather that’s lush to the touch. You can see the innate beauty of each hide, with all its natural patterns and imperfections. And you can relax knowing that a very light invisible coating keeps the subtleties and softness intact while protecting the leather from wear and tear. The result is a tactile sensation of a surface designed to be alluring and enduring.

Enjoy an array of evocative colours that span a spectrum of earthy hues. Each one has a nuance of grey, creating an uncanny sense of continuity. Watch the colours take on more character as a subtle patina emerges over time. Indulge in the sensory experience of a luscious, durable leather rich with detail and depth. Our NUANCE collection has passed a special testing of TVOC (Total Volatile Organic Compounds), which measures emissions and other factors as to their effect on air quality – verifying NUANCE’s minimal impact of emissions on the environment. It’s quite unique to NUANCE and the first certification of its kinds on our collection.

By removing the prefix, The Republic of, Fritz Hansen redefines its image, branching out with a wider ranging product portfolio in more markets than ever before. Uniting all our designs under the Fritz Hansen umbrella, we put the spotlight on our roots, our traditions and—not least—our future with a new and distinctive identity that showcases our full product portfolio to maximum effect. We have also introduced a new trade fair concept and image campaigns under the subtitle Room for Imagination. A merge of Danish and French aesthetics, Fritz Hansen continues collaborating with Korean electronics giant Samsung Electronics, unveils latest generation of the SERIF TV, a design that manifests their core attributes of minimalism paired with elegance, designed by French designers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec. Serif is another take to the world of TVs, it remains that its core competence is a natural adapting to contemporary interiors. The Serif's design by the Bouroullec brothers lets you easily position it anywhere there's a flat surface.
