Her Majesty Queen Mother admitted to hospital with fever
Her Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother has been admitted to Chulalongkorn Hospital with a fever, the Royal Household Bureau announced.
The bureau said in a statement that the Queen Mother had developed a fever and cough on Sunday evening and her medical team advised admittance to the hospital for close monitoring by doctors.
The bureau said the general condition of the Queen Mother has improved and the fever has gone. The statement added that the Queen Mother could talk well and eat well.
The team of doctors advised the Queen Mother to remain in the hospital for a while.
