Their Majesties arrived at Sanam Chai station in Bangkok in the evening, and also granted an audience to high-ranking people and officials, including Deputy Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul, Transport Minister Saksayam Chidchob, the Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand governor Pakapong Sirikantaramas and chairman of the executive board of Bangkok Expressway and Metro Pcl, Plew Trivisvavet.

After the opening ceremony at Sanam Chai, the King and Queen took the train to Laksong station. They got out of the train and met with people who were waiting to be granted an audience at the Mall Bangkhae shopping mall area.

Their Majesties King Maha Vajiralongkorn and Queen Suthida on Saturday opened the extension of the Blue Line mass transit route.
