Pornanong Surges to Lead in Bangchak Open
Tournament’s favourite Pornanong Phatlum hit a second round 68 to establish a stoke lead in the BT1 Million Bangchak Thai LPGA Open at the Panya Ramindra Golf Course on Thursday.
The Chaiyabhum-based carded five birdies against a bogey on the eighth hole for a two-day total of seven-under-par 137 at the par 72 6,349 yard landscape.
"I hit 11 fairways, 12 greens and made 26 putts. I was feeling better today and started to putt better at the back nine,” said the Thai No 1.
A stroke behind was Onnarin Sattayabanphot who also shot a 68 for a total six-under-par 138. Amateur Pajaree Ananarukarn trailed a shot behind at third with a total 139, also achieved by overnight leader Ploychompoo Wilairungreung.
