Namchok Wins Singha Championship By Eight Strokes

29-year-old Namchok Tantipokhakul won his second title of the year after posting an eight shot win over Natthapong Niyomchon and Udorn Duangdecha in the BT2 Million Singha Championship at Rayong Green Valley Club on Sunday.

The three round leader came back from an opening bogey to generate eight birdies, five successive from holes six to 10, for an ending 64 and 18-under-par 266 on aggregate, leaving joint runners-up Udorn and Nathapong far behind as each signed off with 274.

The 29-year-old from Chonburi has won two titles this year including the January’s  ATDT Warisan Harta Sabah Masters, in Malaysia. However this is his second Singha All Thailand Golf Tour title after winning at the Bang Phra International Golf Club in Chonburi, 2009.

"At the start of the tournament, I just thought a top 10 finish would be quite OK. But from the way I started the fourth round, I couldn't help thinking of winning here," said the Chonburi-based golfer.
