Yang Maintains Lead after round three of Honda LPGA Thailand

2015 champion Amy Yang  still maintain her impressive form to shoot a 65 in the delayed third round of the US$1.6 Honda LPGA Thailand to build a convincing five shot lead going into the final round at the Siam Country Club Pattaya Old Course on Sunday.

The world No 11 was leading at 17 under after 13 holes when darkness suspended the third round on Saturday. When play resumed at 7am on Sunday morning, the Taiwanese showed no sign of distraction, adding more birdie on the 17 th hole for an bogey free 65 and a three round total of 18 under-par 198.

"You know, we  have been waking up early because the weather is getting up, so think it's important to keep good condition out there, like stay focused.I won't do anything much (in the final). Just keep it simple. Be patient." said Yang.

2011 US Women’s Open champion So Yeon Ryu who had already finished her round on Saturday with a 68 trailed five shots behind at 13 under-par-203.

2013 Rookie of the Year Moriya Jutanugarn of Thailand , after a 67, surged to tied third with a total 205. South Korean Sei Young Kim and world No 3 Shanshan Feng, after a 68 and 71 respectively, were also at joint third.

The final round is due at 9.38am Bangkok time.
