Former Thai No 1 Pol to train in Florida
Former Thai No 1 Pol Wattakul is to train with Claudio Postolesi, the former coach of ex world No 4 Robin Soderling of Sweden in Florida for three months.
The 21-year-old decided to leave Thailand for an overseas training for the first time in hope to receive new techniques and regain confidence after dropping downing the rankings.
He used to reach a career highest at No 712 in 2015 and had two semi-finals in ITF level. Pol also reached the second round of a US$125,000 ATP Challenger in Hua Hin two years ago.
Apart from training with Postolesti, Pol also plans to enter some Men’s Futures in the US which provides highly competitive level than ITFs in Asia.
