“I’m so overwhelmed to win my first professional title. I finally made it for my father who has sacrificed a lot for me to pursue a career in golf,” said Kanyalak, who returns home Bt142,500 richer with the winner’s prize money. The 19-year-old made amends for her loss in a play-off during the final of a China LPGA Tour earlier this year.

“I hit the irons and putted well today. I hit the greens for 16 holes and made 28 putts, but a 12-under was beyond my expectations,” said Kanyalak, playing in only her third Thai LPGA event.
Chonlada, despite an finishing 65, settled at 10-under-par 206 to finish second. She earned Bt96,284 in prize money. Amateur Nattapan Siritrai came at third with a 208.
