Thailand win 2 golds from sepak takraw and women's water polo
Thailand won two more gold medals in the 29th SEA Games in Malaysia on Saturday from the men’s sepak takraw team and women’s polo team.
The women’s polo squad successfully defended their gold medal after they beat Singapore 4-1 in their last preliminary game at the national Aquatics Centre. Thailand finished atop of the pool win three straight wins over Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore respectively.
In sepak takraw, Thailand beat Malaysia 3-0 in the men’s team regu event for their 16th gold medal in this category.
Thailand have won three gold medals including the first one from men’s chinlone event 1.
