Red-hot Panipak Wongpattanakit claimed her second World Grand Prix gold medal of the season after she outclassed Tijana Bogdanovic of Serbia 44-6 in the final of the women’s 49kg World Taekwando Grand Prix London on Sunday.

Panipak also claimed the gold medal in the Moscow meet earlier this year. She also won the World University Games gold medal and SEA Games gold medal on her way to London.

“I’m glad that I finally made it. I didn’t have any pressure at all. I just wanted to do my best in honour of His Majesty the late King Bhimibol,” said Panipak who will next enter the World Grand Prix Final in Ivory Coast this December.

Apart from Panipak, Thailand also won the bronze medal from the men’s 58kg by Tawin Hanparb.
