A four-series event with magnetic appeal

Local running enthusiasts will be given a new challenge called the Singha Series Run which comprises four circuits in Chiang Rai, Petchaburi, Chiang Mai and Bangkok.

The inaugural series will start with the Singha Park Chiang Rai Cross Country Marathon on February 25, featuring a 42.295km full marathon, 21km half marathon, 10km mini marathon and 7km fun run.
The second event, the Singha Cha Am Bikini Beach Run, will take place on March 18 in Petchaburi province. Participants are required to wear bikinis and the series will have the same four parts.
The third and fourth races will only have three options – everything but the full marathon course.

They are the Singha Songkran Chiang Mai Night Run, which will be staged on April 13 during Songkran, the traditional Thai New Year,  which will take runners up to the Wat Phra That Doi Suthep temple on top of Suthep mountain, and the Singha Bangkok 21K Park Run on May 20 at King Rama IX Park in Bangkok.
“For the first time, runners will compete in four different landscapes under a variety of conditions. They are challenged to train and get fit for all four circuits,” said Rawin Chompunuchtanin, Public Relations Director of Boon Rawd Brewery.
Runners who take part in all four series will receive four magnetic medals which can be connected into one piece  like a jigsaw. Likewise, the top five runners in each category from each race will be able to combine their trophies into one souvenir trophy.
