Bangkok Airways has announced the third Bangkok Airways Boutique Series: 6 races to be staged in 6 different destinations around Thailand in 2019.

Prote Setsuwan, the company’s vice president (marketing) says the series will promote tourism across the airline’s network of destinations as well as support the growth of sports tourism.

It had already proved to be popular with athletes, with more than 39,900 people taking part in uits first two years, Prote said.

“Bangkok Airways has also joined hands with Stupidnoobmacc, the renowned Thai illustrator behind “BabyBoy” (cartoon desigh) who will be designing a special collection just for “Bangkok Airways Boutique Series 2019” by using highlights from each province as themes for BabyBoy. The designs will be featured on the series’ shirts, medals and trophies and available as souvenirs to participants across all 6 marathons throughout 2019” added Prot.

This year’s races are as follows: the Krabi Half-Marathon is on May 12, the Samui Half Marathon is on June 2, the Lampang Half Marathon is on July 7, the Phuket Half Marathon is on August 4, the Chiang Rai Marathon on September 15 and the Lanna Half Marathon in Chiang Mai will complete the series on November 3.

The airline is offering free registration when you book any flight with Bangkok Airways and register your participation through the designated channel.

The first 1,000 entrants will also receive a specially designed souvenir buff.
