Thai soccer fans will be able to watch all 64 games of the World Cup Finals for free, according to Deputy Prime Minister Prawit Wongsuwan.

Seven private sectors  will support the licensing fee for the broadcast of all 64 games which costs more than Bt 1 billion.

Since 2012, under  the government policy,  only free TV stations are allowed to broadcast main sport events such as SEA Games, Asian Games, Olympics and World Cup.

The World Cup Finals in Russia will start from June 14 – July 13.
