LOS ANGELES - "The Hitman's Bodyguard" held top spot at the North American box office as the Labor Day weekend brought the curtain down on one of the most dismal summers for moviegoing in recent memory.

LOS ANGELES - For the third consecutive weekend "The Hitman's Bodyguard" was the top film in North American box offices, but the cinematic scene remained deep in the summer doldrums, according to final three-day numbers from website Exhibitor Relations.
