The temperature plunged sharply from 7 degrees Celsius on Monday to 1C at the summit of tourist destination Doi Inthanon in Chiang Mai on Tuesday morning, a park official said.

Tourists were in chilly delight Friday morning as the temperature atop Mount Phu Rua in Loei fell to 1 degree Celsius.
