Thai businessman Aphichart Vannakul and four former Electricity of Laos (EDL) executives were sentenced to life in Laos over a hydropower graft case

A Thai businessman was robbed by a lone gunman, who escaped with Bt55,000 in cash in Chon Buri province early on Sunday morning. The robbery took place in Bang Lamung district, Pol Captain Setthawuth Mawanhirankul said.
