A MARKED slowdown in sales in Indonesia's property development sector has removed most of the rating headroom developers had built up over the past three years, Standard & Poor's Ratings Services said in a Credit FAQ published late on Friday.

Developers are moving to cater to the growing middle- and lower-segment housing market as demand for upscale residences drops on this year's slowing economy.
