AIA Group on Friday announced 18 per cent growth in value of new business (VONB) to US$1.16 billion (Bt36.6 billion) on constant exchange rates (CER) for the first quarter ended March 31, 2019.

Cambodia's insurance industry continued to experience strong growth during the first half of this year, with total gross premiums reaching $68 million (Bt2.25 billion), an increase of 21 per cent compared with the same period in 2016.
