A FORMER monk currently in prison for unauthorised use of the royal initials has partially retracted his confession and is now planning to fight the charge.

The director of Isra News Agency, Prasong Lertrattanavisut, filed a complaint on Friday against former Reuters Thailand correspondent Andrew MacGregor Marshall, who allegedly defamed him in a Facebook post.
