His Majesty the King has expressed concern for the security of people in the southern border provinces and instructed the Army to step up protection, the southern Army chief said.

His Majesty the King has assigned his private secretary and an organisation of volunteers under the King to work with government agencies and tackle pollution in Klong Prem Prachakorn, an official said on Wednesday.
