One of the pro-democracy movement’s guards, Mongkol Santimetakul stands to face charges of providing false testimony about his claim that he was abducted by mysterious men on Saturday night.

Mongkol Uthok, a musician in the legendary “songs for life" Caravan band has died at the age of 67, band leader Surachai Chantimatorn has reported.
