THE SUPREME Court yesterday sentenced 84 yellow-shirt protesters who stormed the state-run NBT television station in 2008 to jail terms ranging from three to eight months, upholding a verdict by the Appeals Court.

Police are closely watching the People’s Alliance for Democracy (PAD) following Wednesday’s dismissal of ex-PM Somchai Wongsawat, his deputy, and former police officials in regard to actions taken to disperse a 2008 PAD protest.
