THE UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) yesterday appointed highly respected Thai Buddhist monk, Phra Vudhijaya Vajiramedhi, and Princess Sara Zeid of Jordan as its first two Patrons for Peace and Compassion in recognition of their work to help millions of refugees.
