Phuket’s beaches and temples are popular settings for pre-nuptial photos, but yesterday police on the island rounded up seven of the people taking the pictures for working without a permit.

Phuket immigration officers say they are committed to the national crackdown called “Operation X-ray Outlaw Foreigner”, especially on visa overstayers.
