CRIME SUPPRESSION Division officers will this week order the Counter-Corruption Division to take legal action against the embattled Kanchanaburi police chief, Pol Maj-General Sutthi Puangpikul, in relation to a high-profile case surrounding the dispute over Bt30-million winning lottery tickets.

KANCHANABURI’S police chief has been transferred out of his post over a lottery-cheating scandal, giving weight to widespread speculation that some state officials had allegedly colluded in the plot to grab the Bt30-million prize from the legitimate winner.
