The Bhumjai Thai Party on Wednesday announced its readiness to compete in the general election, saying it aims to become the main party in forming the government.

Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha was ready to support Laos following the Xepian-Xe Nam Noy hydropower dam collapse, said government spokesman Sansern Kaewkamnerd on Wednesday.
