After the Phrae governor dispatched officials from several government agencies to investigate a creek in Phrae’s Muang district, they have now seized 43 shops built on the creek’s bank for encroaching on a public waterway.

A 42-year-old woman, taking six water buffaloes to graze on grass and soak in the water of an Udon Thani creek reportedly slipped, fell into the creek and drowned on Sunday afternoon.
