Six pupils will be moved from a school in Samut Prakan as part of plans by the education authorities to shut 15,000 small schools across the country this year, a senior official said on Thursday.

The 14-by-3-metre painting titled “The Heroes”, depicting the Thais and foreigners who took part in the rescue of the 12 “Wild Boars” and their football coach from the flooded Tham Luang Cave in Chiang Rai’s Mae Sai district in June and July, will be moved on Thursday from Wat Rong Khun to a memorial pavilion in front of the cave.
