Cambodia will nominate US President Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize, its deputy prime minister said on Friday, following his direct intervention in halting the South-East Asian country's recent border conflict with Thailand.

Pro-junta Plang Pracharat Party will name Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha as its candidate for prime minister after the March general election, a party source said on Wednesday.
