Joe Biden delivered a cascade of victories in Tuesday's nationwide sweep of primaries, with a dominating showing in the South and surprisingly strong finishes in New England and the Upper Midwest as he sought to take control of the Democratic presidential race and overtake Sen. Bernie Sanders as the delegate leader. Sanders easily won his home state, Vermont, and carried Colorado and Utah.
