Flying high to HO CHI MINH

Nok Air, Thailand’s low-cost carrier, is introducing its Bangkok-Ho Chi Minh City route with effect from October 1. Flight reservations are now being accepted through Nok Air’s website, www.NokAir.com, through the Call Centre at 1318 and at Nok Air ticket booths at airports. The all-inclusive promotion starts from Bt1,490 per person per flight. Promotion seats are limited on each flight and may not be available on some flights.

A very welcome arrival

Thailand reached 17 million foreign visitors last week with the arrival of Omani Yaqdhan Hamad Khalifa at Suvarnabhumi Airport. Khalifa, who was travelling with his wife and child, participated in the brief celebration inside the arrival hall, which was attended by well wishers from Tourism Authority of Thailand, Thai Airways, Airport Authority of Thailand and True Corporation. The lucky Omani takes home two return air tickets on the Bangkok-Muscat route, five nights accommodation and a SIM card for local calls.
