Ratchadamnoen Contemporary Art Centre (RCAC) is playing host to the Bangkok Street of Jazz concert until Saturday in celebration of His Majesty the King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s 88th birthday on December 5. From 5pm onwards, the bands will be taking turns to entertain music lovers. Expect all kinds of jazz, varying from New Orleans tunes to fusion beats. Call (02) 422 8827.
 
DINING OUT WITH DAD

HERITAGE REVISITED
Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya World Heritage Fair returns to the old Thai capital for its 2015 edition from December 18 to 27. As always, this year’s event will feature cultural shows, booths selling food, drink and local produce and a light and sound performance. Established as the capital of Siam in 1351, Ayutthaya stood for 416 years before becoming a part of Central Region. The province is still rich in art and history.
