S Gallery at Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit is all set to launch its new art exhibition – Rush Pleansuk’s “Genii Loci”. The solo exhibition, which opens to the public on December 18, presents the art of the talented Thai artist, who rose to prominence when his artworks were selected for La Fete’s “Designer’s Week”. “Genii Loci” is a Latin term for the protective spirit of a place and the collection of artworks, on the theme of “the cycle of life” – is divided into three parts – “Body, “Sense” and “Memory”. The reception party takes place on December 17 starting at 5.30pm.
