Once viewed as a small group of people who avoided animal products for ethical reasons, veganism has today expanded to include a much larger, and fast-growing, group of people seeking healthier, cleaner food and a more enriching lifestyle. To get into the vegan spirit, Booking.com is highlighting five great vegan stays across the world. 
- The LifeCoBodrum Well-Being Detox Center and Vegan Hotel, Golturkbuku,  Turkey
Situated in picturesque Turkbuku, a short walk from the Aegean Sea, LifeCo Well-Being Centre is a juice-fasting, vegan, detox retreat, which focuses on ways to boost health, lose weight, reduce stress and break harmful habits. The detox programme, which is specially tailored to suit the needs of each individual guest, includes yoga, meditation, colon cleansing, steam room and infrared sauna, and guidance talks to help guests understand where body toxins come from.

 

- PrinzMyshkinParkhotel, Munich, Germany
The newly renovated PrinzMyshkinParkhotel is Munich’s first vegetarian hotel. In the restaurant garden and terrace, guests are pampered with vegetarian and vegan breakfasts, lunches and dinners from all over the world. The hotel also offers lactose-free, gluten-free diet and raw food diets.

 

- Stanford Inn by the Sea, Mendocino, California 
Located along the Mendocino coastline, this resort offers an indoor salt water pool, a hot tub and a restaurant. A rustic wood decor, white plush linens and a fireplace are featured in each room. Guests can choose between ocean and garden view and take advantage of the free mountain bike rentals. Cooking classes, a wellness centre and yoga classes are also available and Raven’s Restaurant provides a vegan menu of local produce and a full breakfast daily.

 

- BodeleAlpenhotel, Schwarzenberg in Bregenzerwald, Austria 
With direct access to ski slopes, cross-country ski runs and hiking trails, the modern BodeleAlpenhotel is six kilometres from Schwarzenberg and eight from Dornbirn. Guests can enjoy healthy meals made from organic regional produce. The cuisine is vegetarian and vegan, and a wide variety of tasty healthy drinks can be enjoyed. A scenic lake with a small chapel is next to the hotel, and a ski bus to the Mellau-Damuls skiarea stops right outside.

Located on a green property with an outdoor pool, gardens and sun terraces, Casa Axis offers guests spiritual healing, Reiki training, meditation lessons, nutritional coaching and vegan cookery classes.
