KLM Royal Dutch Airlines adds a new experience to its flight with a launch of The Journey, an English-language podcast in which passengers talk about travels that have changed their lives.

It’s the first airline to use a podcast to display the power of travelling. Every episode will focus on a single journey and the podcast takes listeners to different parts of the world, from the snowfields of Alaska to the busy streets of New Delhi.

“This podcast adds a unique aspect to KLM’s existing communication channels. It is a great medium for our brand to connect and engage with our community of followers. Through this podcast, views are able to share and listen to interesting 30-40 minute travel stories,” said Natasha van Roode, Head of KLM marketing communication.

Passengers can tune in to the podcasts at no cost through podcast.klm.com. Background information about the different episodes on the site. “The Journe”" is also available through all the major podcast platforms including Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and Google Play. KLM passengers can also listen to the podcasts on Inflight Entertainment onboard long-distance flights.
