Temple lights bring a glow to Ubon Ratchathani hill
Many tourists head upcountry this time of year to enjoy the cool breezes of winter and one attraction they won’t want to miss is Sirindhorn Wararam temple in Ubon Ratchathani.
Perched on a hill, the temple aims to simulate the environment of the mythical Himmapan forest. The outstanding feature is the golden chapel that stands right on the top of the hill. When dusk falls, the temple will glow in the dark especially the painting of a Kanlapaphruek tree [Pink Cassia].
