Globe heaves sigh of relief as world’s policeman steps down 

Alf Haupt bemoans the fact that the mere mortals of the world are not grateful to America for acting as the world’s policemen and the world’s army.
Who should be more grateful, Alf, the people of Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Egypt and Syria? Or the rest of us whose lives have been made considerably less safe by the foreign policy of your country and the morons in charge of it?
As a helpful suggestion to Trump supporters, buy a history book, and, if necessary, learn to read.
