Will Thais tolerate this abuse of power for ever?
A seating plan for the pro-junta Palang Pracharat fundraiser released to the public was apparently supposed to be a secret. In fact their meeting was a closed affair attended by many government ministers and officials and they raised over Bt600 million.
Wasn’t it a short time ago that five ordinary citizens were prohibited from holding a meeting?
What troubles me is why, for decade upon decade, so many Thai citizens accept this relentless abuse from their government without doing something significant about it.
