Sometimes a joke can go too far
Many were shocked to hear Deputy Prime Minister Prawit Wonsuwan put the terrorist attack in Kenya’s DusitD2 Hotel down to delicious Thai food. He also said it was “good enough” that Thais were not among the 21 dead.
It is unfortunate to hear a national leader publicly make light of a horrific incident. The general, in his high government position, should at this point be able to differentiate between serious international issues and jokes he cracks with his subordinates.
