Samui about to fall off map
We ask Nation readers, government agencies, businesses in Samui and everyone who loves Samui to talk with anyone who can do something and contact the management of Bangkok Airways about plans to construct a new airport on the island.
The cost of flying to and from Samui will likely rise far above the cost of going to and from Phuket or Krabi, and this wonderful island will lose in tourism and othr trade.
We love Thailand and we love Samui! We know the people in government already have many problems to solve, but we hope they can find the time and a way to help save Paradise Island, as foreigners referred to Samui 30 years ago.
