If you criticise a political party, are you subverting the state?

If you criticise a political party, are you subverting the state?

Re: “China’s government is being undermined by a global conspiracy”, Have Your Say, March 22.

Yingwai Suchaovanich invalidates his entire argument at the fourth paragraph. The “overthrow” of a political party (in this case the Communist Party of China) can only be conflated with “subversion of state power” in a totalitarian one-party tyranny. In China, the ruling single-party elite hates its citizens to the extent that criticism from any quarter is rewarded by persecution, re-education, incarceration, organ-harvesting, torture and death.
“Mr Setter accuses me of being an apologist,” complains Yingwai. No, mate. You ain’t no apologist, you’re a cheerleader.
