No outside funding
Re: “Thailand can find better examples of democracy to follow”, Have Your Say, March 29.
A Johnsen in his letter wrongly asserted that the Foreign Correspondents’ Club of Thailand receives funding from the National Endowment for Democracy in the US.
For the record, the club does not receive any funding from that entity and has never done so. Furthermore, as anyone attending the club’s annual general meetings can confirm, the club has no outside sources of funding.
